This is a decorative bust-style sculpture depicting a young couple. The girl's eyes are closed and she's falling backward. They seem to have decided to prove their mutual trust to each other, letting themselves fall backward into each other's arms. The young woman isn't afraid because she knows her faithful companion is behind her, holding her close. Clearly, the artist once again masterfully plays with symbolism, this time trying to express the blind trust that couples who truly love each other unconditionally have in each other. This sculpture of a couple is a beautiful example of the value and great support that another person represents for you.
