Bronze sculpture designed and made by Ángeles Anglada. Numbered series of 500.

Unforgettable encounters, memories that last a lifetime, always accompanied by a light that never goes out when the day ends.

This is a contemporary sculpture that represents imagination. The work consists of a female figure resting on a globe, holding the hands of a male figure seated on the moon. The sculpture is made of bronze.

The base of this modern sculpture allows us to personalize it , if you wish, by placing a small plaque with a dedication.

The piece was made in Spain using artisanal techniques and is a limited edition. Its dimensions are 18 x 15 x 57 cm (7.1 x 5.9 x 2.2 inches ).

What is now demonstrated was once only imagined.

ACHIEVE A DREAM

Once again, Ángeles Anglada surprises us with a new sculpture from the BRONZE collection.

In a world directed and managed by  Technology doesn't make personal inspiration, poetry, or the visual arts easy. Thank God, there's still some inspiration left in this world.

The history of this sculpture is easy to visualize:

The dream of the person who leaves their world for love, to surrender to the loved one on their small, idyllic moon.

Saying it is easy, imagining it is living a dream, expressing it is being a special artist. That's what lies behind this work.

It's a light sculpture, but full of life, almost unreal; everything is in the air, like a dream. Technically, you have to think and work to ensure that the dream holds and maintains its balance.

The focal point is a beautiful young woman, who shows us the harmony of her body as in classical sculpture. To achieve this, our sculptor returns to the principles and manages to make the bronze transparent, with  the wet clothes technique.

If we look at the figure, we can appreciate the slenderness of the young woman's body thanks to a technique that takes us back to the Classical period, the 4th century BC, when nude women were prohibited or frowned upon, and the male body was considered perfect. It was then that the technique of wet clothing was developed, a way of showing beauty without undressing it.

The position of the young woman's arms enhances her slenderness as she connects with her beloved. The figure of the man, seated on his idyllic moon with his torso semi-erect, maintains the sculpture's continuity.

In short, a work of art to keep dreams alive.

Thank you, Angeles.
